Nabors Blasts Eclipse, Liberty Academy Take Game 2, 4-2
Philadelphia designated hitter Mathew Nabors was the difference-maker for the Liberty Academy in what turned into a shootout with the Northville Eclipse. Nabors earned accolades after going 3-for-3 in the 4-2 Liberty Academy win. With the victory, the Liberty Academy moved into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-3 series.

A key moment came with two out in the bottom of the first. That's when Nabors hit a changeup from Ron Harris for a 3-run home run, putting Philadelphia up, 4-0.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Nabors. "And not try to do too much."

Game 3 is scheduled for Wednesday at Old-Timers Park in Northville.
