Road Win Lifts Lake Murray to 1-0 Lead in R1
The Lake Murray MotorBoaters powered past the hometown Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas, 5-3, in the opener of the SL AA Championship at Ghost Crab Park. Lake Murray starting pitcher Luis Domínguez threw 6.0 innings allowing 2 runs, to lead the charge. The MotorBoaters now lead the series 1-0.

Tony Rosales dealt the Cangrejos Fantasmas a blow in the top of the second. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and Lake Murray leading 1-0, Rosales hit a 1-0 sinker for a 2-run double.

"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said Lake Murray manager David Buchanan. "That's what Luis is right now."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ghost Crab Park in Bowie.
