Extra-Inning Win by Cangrejos Fantasmas Over Screaming Eagles
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles got a whale of a performance from pitcher José García, but the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas still prevailed, 4-1, in 10 innings. García threw 9.0 innings of 5-hit ball. Chesapeake reliever Mario Pérez was the winner. His record is now 7-5. The losing pitcher was Jared Wilson. The win for the Cangrejos Fantasmas lifted their record to 65-38.

Chesapeake used the timely hitting of Dan Harlow to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Cangrejos Fantasmas on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Harlow.
