Liberty Academy Win SL AA Championship
The Philadelphia Liberty Academy pulled out all the stops tonight, winning the SL AA Championship in a hard-fought series with the Northville Eclipse.

It was a seesaw affair, but with a 3-2 victory at Old-Timers Park, Philadelphia lay claim to the franchise's 3rd championship.

"There's no denying we faced a tough opponent," said Loran Godron. "But as the old saying goes, 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going,' and that's what we did today."

The champs finished the regular season 65-37 and claimed first place in the Silver AA.

A victory parade is set to be scheduled in Philadelphia in the days to come.
