Lake Murray MotorBoaters Win SL AA Championship
The Lake Murray MotorBoaters ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas 12-3 to win the SL AA Championship.

Lake Murray won the series 2-1, capturing the title for the 3rd time.

"We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Lake Murray manager David Buchanan. "It's a great feeling."

The champs finished the regular season 59-43 and claimed second place in the Silver AA.

In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and right fielder Gilberto Martínez said the MotorBoaters have "great fans and they deserve this."

"I am so happy for our city right now," he said.
