Zimmerman Blasts Thunder, Liberty Take Game 4, 8-4
The Philadelphia Liberty and the Toronto Thunder will take the ToC First Round to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation, the Liberty beat the Thunder, 8-4, at Liberty Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Philadelphia second baseman Jason Zimmerman went 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3.

A key moment came with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Zimmerman hit a fastball from Nelson Bennett for a run-scoring single, putting Philadelphia up, 3-1.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Philadelphia manager Geoff Matt.

The next game is set to be played for Thursday, October 5th , 2062 at Thunder Field in Toronto.
