Long Island used a timely hit from Thulsa Doom to get the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Lighthouse ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Long Island manager Michael Esposito.

The next game is set to be played for Sunday, October 2nd , 2061 at The Lighthouse in Hempstead.
