Stingers Win, Move to Within 1 Game of ToC Semi-Finals
The Toledo Stingers moved to within one game of the ToC Semi-Finals, downing the visiting New Orleans Voodoo at Pacesetter Park by a score of 3-1. Stingers left-hander Jason Kofod had a strong outing in which he threw 6.0 innings allowing 1 run. The win gives the Stingers a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-5 ToC First Round.

Willie Griffin drove in one run against the Voodoo. With the game tied in the bottom of the sixth inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that put Toledo in front, 2-1.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Griffin said.
