Voodoo Take 2-1 Lead with 4-1 Win
Despite a great performance by Long Island starter Jack Peters, the New Orleans Voodoo defeated the Lighthouse by the score of 4-1 at The Lighthouse. Peters threw 8.0 innings of 2-hit ball, but he couldn't prevent the Voodoo from moving one game closer to the ToC Semi-Finals. New Orleans now leads the ToC First Round 2-1.

Rubén Vargas came through with a big-time hit for New Orleans. The designated hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 4-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It was just a matter of executing," said New Orleans manager Chase Sims.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Lighthouse in Hempstead.
