New Orleans Wins at Home to Take 3-2 Lead in R1
The New Orleans Voodoo moved to within one game of the ToC Semi-Finals, downing the visiting Long Island Lighthouse at The Voodoo Lounge by a score of 3-1. Voodoo left-hander Jesús Ramírez had a strong outing in which he threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The win gives the Voodoo a 3-2 advantage in the best-of-5 ToC First Round.

The Lighthouse had trouble solving Ramírez, who surrendered no runs on 3 hits over 7 innings.

"It was a good effort all around," said Ramírez.
