The Boston Patriots defeated the Colorado Billy Goats, 2-1, in Game 2 of the ToC First Round. Doing his part was starter Iiri Lahti, who threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The win moves Boston into a 1-1 tie with Colorado in the series.

Lahti delivered a quality start for Boston. The 6-foot-2 right-hander allowed no earned runs on 4 hits over 7 innings of work.

"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Mack Kilkeary.

The next game is set to be played for Sunday, October 3rd , 2060 at Grazing Hills in Denver.
