Boston Pins 7-3 Loss on Colorado
|
The Boston Patriots moved to within one game of the Tournament of Champions, downing the visiting Colorado Billy Goats at Dunkin Donuts Park by a score of 7-3. Patriots catcher Matt Craig did some major damage. He was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The win gives the Patriots a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-5 ToC Semi-Finals.
Craig had a consequential at-bat in the bottom of the second for the Patriots. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Boston trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run single.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Boston manager Brian Fahie.
The next game is set to be played for Monday, October 10th , 2061 at Grazing Hills in Denver.
