Kille Blasts Stingers, Voodoo Take Game 2, 4-3
|
With left fielder Janpey Kille leading the charge, the New Orleans Voodoo got a road win over the Toledo Stingers, 4-3, in Game 2 of the ToC Semi-Finals. Kille was 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 at Pacesetter Park to help New Orleans force a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.
Les Moore, the 12th overall pick in the 2058 draft, had a direct impact on the outcome. Moore contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put New Orleans up, 4-3.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Moore said.
Game 3 is scheduled for Monday at The Voodoo Lounge in New Orleans.
