Almost There: Toledo On Cusp of R3 Triumph After 4-3 Win
The Toledo Stingers moved to within one game of the Round 4, downing the visiting Boston Patriots at Pacesetter Park by a score of 4-3. Stingers right-hander Rodrigo García had a strong outing in which he threw 7.2 innings of 5-hit ball. The win gives the Stingers a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 Tournament of Champions.

Toledo took a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, when Daniel Webster hit a clutch 2-run home run to bring Stingers fans to their feet.

"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said García.

The next game is set to be played for Friday, October 21st , 2061 at Dunkin Donuts Park in Boston.
