Toronto Win United States Baseball Association Championship!
It was a storybook year for the Toronto Thunder as they closed out a 4-2 series win over the Toledo Stingers to claim the United States Baseball Association Championship.

They wrapped it up with a 2-1 victory to cap an incredible season after they brought home their 8th league championship earlier in the year.

The Thunder manager offered his view of the series.

"We had a lot of things going for us," he said, "offense and defense doing it at the right time. That's what it takes to win it all."

The Stingers manager commented: "We're disappointed we lost, but we're also very proud of what we did all year. They played better baseball than us and they beat us."

During the Premier League regular season, Toronto compiled a record of 60-48.
