The Vancouver Grey Wolves knocked off the Baltimore Bullets, 7-2, in United States Silver League action at Baltimore Grounds. Vancouver pitcher and Cascade-Fairwood, Washington, native Jeff Benson had an outstanding performance. Benson got the win, improving to 1-1. He gave up 6 hits and walked 2 over 5.1 innings. He allowed 2 runs. The Grey Wolves improved to 43-38.

Peter Young had a clutch at-bat with two out in the top of the sixth for the Grey Wolves. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Vancouver trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run single.
