Cattlemen Lose to Pandas in Walk-Off
|
The Montana Pandas defeated the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 10-8, at Panda Park. Leading the charge for Montana was first baseman Louis Bletsoe. He went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. With the win, Montana upped its record to 45-37.
Montana got a game-changing hit from Jason Zimmerman. The shortstop blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a winner.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Zimmerman told the Montana Herald.
