The Vancouver Grey Wolves knocked off the Pittsburgh Kingfishers, 7-2, in United States Silver League action at Wolf Den in Vancouver. Vancouver pitcher and Tres Ríos, Costa Rica, native Salvador López had an outstanding performance. The winner was López. He threw 5.1 innings of 1-hit ball. The loser was Lester Creed.
