Rocketeers Come Back Late to Top Stingers, 5-2
The Toledo Stingers got a superb performance from pitcher Archie MacMurchy. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Seattle. The Rocketeers won the game, 5-2. MacMurchy threw 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball. Seattle is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Seattle used the clutch hitting of Clifford Tolbert to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Rocketeers ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

Tolbert called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
