Saunders Powers Stingers to 9-3 Win

The first-place Toledo Stingers picked up another win.
A good performance from designated hitter Joe Saunders helped the Toledo Stingers defeat the Mexico City Blue Demons, 9-3. Saunders went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Stingers. Earning his 10th save of the year was Arsen Campbell.
Saunders went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 against the Blue Demons. In the bottom of the first inning, he grounded out, driving in 1 run that put Toledo in front, 1-0.
"It was a tough day, no getting around it," said losing manager JJ Hoban.
