The Vancouver Grey Wolves were defeated, 3-2, by the Ft. Worth Cattlemen at The Cattle Pen, even though Juan Hernández pitched well for Vancouver. Ft. Worth's record now stands at 45-46, placing them 7th in the Silver League.

In the bottom of the sixth, Julius Sharp delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 2nd, the Ft. Worth third baseman hit a run-scoring single, putting the Cattlemen in front, 3-2.

Sharp told a Ft. Worth Bulletin reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
