The home crowd had a good time watching the Montana Pandas and Long Island Lighthouse get after it.

Ostoja Popovic made an impact in the 8-4 Long Island win over Montana. Popovic, who finished 4th in the SL in extra base hits with 50 in 2055, was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Long Island reliever Les King snagged the win, upping his record to 1-1. Wulf Hinkamp shouldered the loss. Eli Crawford collected save number 1.

The fans who filled the stands at The Lighthouse to watch the United States Silver League action seemed to enjoy the game.

Popovic said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a good feeling in the clubhouse right now."
