Riding the 2-hit performance of the 2062 SL home run champion Jeremy Brooks, the Ft. Worth Cattlemen defeated the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 7-0. The Cattlemen now have a record of 43-49 with the win over Vancouver.

Les Lumsden, who finished 2nd in the SL in slugging percentage with .579 in 2061, came through for Ft. Worth with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. The left fielder went 2 for 5 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 3 runs batted in.

"We did a lot of things right," said Brooks.
