Tenney Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Sunday, May 21st , 2062 The number just keeps getting higher. Boston center fielder Herb Tenney has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 4 at-bats as the Boston won the game, 4-1, over the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids at Atlantica. "Who knows how long it will go on?"
