Wednesday, July 14th, 2038
Doctors in Oakland said Jesús Gonzáles might not play anymore this year. The Oaks reliever suffered a torn meniscus during a game against the Portland Evergreens and will be out for at least 4 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.

This season Gonzáles has made 8 relief appearances with no saves. In 13.1 innings he has fanned 17 hitters and recorded no wins and no losses with a 2.70 ERA.
