Shredders Sato Raps 3 Homers Sunday, June 12th , 2050 In a powerful performance that left the fans at The Hollywood Bowl buzzing, Hollywood Shredders first baseman Yamato Sato blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 9-1 win over the Cape Coral Hurricanes. "Everything was clicking," Sato told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Sato shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Shredders manager Bill Cheese said. "Yamato played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Yamato Sato struck out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Tom MacKissock in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Tom MacKissock in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Bret West in the 8th. Thus far this season Sato is hitting .205 with 7 home runs, 15 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has 26 hits in 127 at-bats and has played in 33 games. |
