Tenney 21-Game Hitting Streak Ends Friday, May 26th , 2062 Herb Tenney went 0-for-4 at Magnolia Park to break his consecutive-game hitting streak at 21 games. The 26-year-old Boston center fielder failed to get a hit in the 3-2 Patriots victory over the Memphis Mockingbirds at Magnolia Park. Tenney did not make himself available to reporters after the game. "I think Herb is a little upset," Boston manager Brian Fahie said. "He'll get over it." This year, Tenney is hitting .403 with 31 hits, 1 home run, 16 RBIs and has scored 10 runs. |
