Northern Virginia-Baltimore Brawl, Tafalla and van Ankeren Suspended Sunday, September 13th, 2043 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Northern Virginia-Baltimore contest at Atlantica. The Rainbow Mermaids Eustacio Tafalla and the Bullets Govaart van Ankeren will have to sit out 5 and 10 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. So far this season Tafalla is batting .335 with 14 home runs. van Ankeren has made 34 relief appearances this year and notched 1 save. To date in 71.1 innings he has a 3-1 record, 4.42 ERA with 94 strikeouts and 36 walks. |
