Portland's Matsumoto PL Star of the Week Monday, August 25th, 2042 Tetsu Matsumoto demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the United States Premier League Player of the Week Award. The Portland first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .480 average (12-for-25) with 2 home runs and 10 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor.
