Rocketeers Trade O'Toole to Pandas for Beguer Monday, June 28th , 2060 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Seattle Rocketeers and the Montana Pandas have agreed to a deal that will have 27-year old minor league RF Ty O'Toole, 28-year old minor league SS Cary Crawford, 28-year old minor league RHP Alex Wilson, 26-year old minor league LF Ricardo Cantú, 23-year old minor league RHP Andrés Chávez, and $2,500,003 in cash heading to Montana in exchange for 29-year old LF Jorge Beguer. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. This season, O'Toole is hitting .219 with 4 home runs. In his 324-game career Beguer is hitting .256 with 309 hits, 50 doubles, 16 triples and 8 home runs. He has scored 204 runs and driven in 97. |
