League KO's Rocketeers-Shredders Players with 2-Game Suspensions Tuesday, July 11th , 2062 The league office advised Seattle and Hollywood that they had issued 2-game suspensions to Carlos Villegas and Nick Stewart. They were disciplined for being the major antagonists in yesterday's free-for-all at Boeing Dome. At present, Villegas is batting .224 with 19 hits and no home runs. He has knocked in 9 runs and scored 4 times. For the year, Stewart has collected no saves in 8 relief appearances. He has also notched 29 strikeouts and 15 walks in 27.2 innings while registering a 6.51 ERA and a 0-2 won-lost record. |
