Pittsburgh Sends Flores to Seattle Tuesday, June 28th , 2061 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Kingfishers announced today the acquisition of 37-year old minor league RHP Nick Snyder from the Seattle Rocketeers in exchange for 38-year old RHP Marvello Manalo, 22-year old RF Bartolo Flores, 20-year old 1B Miguel Galindo, and 23-year old 3B Stu Kennedy. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Kingfishers, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Lifetime Snyder has registered a 35-39 record with a 3.39 ERA. |
