1B Sterrenburg, Pittsburgh Agree to 3-Year Pact

The Pittsburgh front office announced the signing of Edward Sterrenburg today as the team's new first baseman. The 34-year-old came to terms with the Kingfishers and will be hauling in $3,500,000 a year over 3 years.
In 687 career games Sterrenburg has batted .288 with 761 hits with 138 doubles, 22 triples and 98 home runs. He has also collected 389 RBIs and scored 394 runs.
