Kingfishers-Rock City Deal: Pratly for Plomp Saturday, July 7th , 2063 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Kingfishers announced today the acquisition of 24-year old minor league SS Ted Tribe and 21-year old minor league RHP Igor Plomp from the Detroit Rock City in exchange for 24-year old RHP Brad Pratly and 27-year old LHP Frank Gagnon. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Kingfishers, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Pittsburgh will retain a portion of Pratly's remaining contract. Pittsburgh will retain a portion of Gagnon's remaining contract. So far this year, Pratly has delivered no saves. In 15 relief appearances he has 27 strikeouts in 28.2 innings with a 4.71 ERA and 5 wins and 2 losses. |
