Voodoo Moore Named PL's #1 Player Monday, August 1st , 2061 22-year-old Les Moore sent shock waves through United States Premier League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the United States Premier League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Moore made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .480 average, 12 hits in 25 at-bats, no home runs and 9 runs batted in. Where the New Orleans Voodoo second baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Moore certainly made his mark last week. Looking at his stats this year, Moore has compiled a .382 batting average, while hitting 1 home run and driving in 22 runs. He has played in 37 games and scored 23 runs. |
