It's Official: Trujillo Will Retire Tuesday, August 2nd , 2061 The Buffalo White Walkers will have to find a new reliever next year as veteran Armando Trujillo is set to retire at the end of the 2061 campaign. Trujillo, age 40, is ready for retirement. "Time takes its toll on this old body. I can't do it as well as I want anymore. It's time to hang up the spikes and make way for a younger guy." Trujillo has allowed opponents a batting average of .249 throughout his career and he has rung up 323 strikeouts in 362.2 innings, while registering 56 saves in 242 games. His record is 22 wins-26 losses with a 3.45 ERA. |
