Stansberry and Orpen Traded Thursday, August 4th , 2061 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Buffalo White Walkers and the Seattle Rocketeers have agreed to a deal that will have 29-year old CF Darryl Stansberry and $3 in cash heading to Seattle in exchange for 29-year old minor league LF Brian Orpen and $5,000,000 in cash. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. So far this year, Stansberry has hit .208 with 2 home runs, 23 RBIs and 18 runs scored. This year, Orpen is hitting .243 with 3 home runs and 23 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .345 clip and scored 26 runs. |
