Weaver Goes Cycling Wednesday, August 7th , 2058 Detroit's Don Weaver accomplished what few others have done -- he hit for the cycle, collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. For the day, Weaver finished 4-for-5 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored and helped the Elite knock off the New Orleans Voodoo, 7-3, at The Voodoo Lounge. "I didn't even know I was about to hit for the cycle until after," Weaver told reporters following the game. "One of the guys mentioned it when I got back to the dugout." Don Weaver singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Teika Fukuda in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th.
