Season Over for Ramón Morán in Toronto Monday, August 21st , 2062 A blow for Ramón Morán today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 6-7 months with a torn posterior cruciate ligament. Morán suffered the injury running the bases. Although officials from the Toronto Thunder are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Morán's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Morán is swinging at a .224 pace on the year with 12 home runs, 35 RBIs and 36 runs scored. He has played in 59 games. |
