Stingers Hurler Named PL's #1 Starter Friday, September 1st , 2062 Kyle Chambers of the Toledo Stingers outdistanced his peers on the mound this month. He fashioned a fine 4-0 won-lost mark and 1.65 ERA in 5 starts to get the United States Premier League Pitcher of the Month honors. Chambers had a very impressive August, finishing with 16 strikeouts in 27.1 innings and holding opposing hitters to a .206 average. On his stats sheet for the year Chambers shows a 7-4 record, 18 starts, 94.1 innings, 69 strikeouts and a 3.24 ERA. |
