Rainbow Mermaids Qutaybah Snags PL Player of the Week Monday, September 18th , 2062 Few players his age are still in the league, but Rashid Qutaybah of the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids clearly loves the game and clearly he can still get the job done. Last week the 35-year-old left fielder hit the ball with the consistency of someone ten years younger, which made Qutaybah a popular and well-deserved selection as United States Premier League Player of the Week. He paced the Rainbow Mermaids attack by putting up a .562 batting average, 9 hits in 16 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 1 home run. Qutaybah also scored 4 runs.
