Tazz Jones Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Wednesday, September 20th , 2062 Tazz Jones will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Toledo reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Jones was injured while throwing a pitch in the Stingers-Mockingbirds clash at Magnolia Park recently. Doctors said he has shoulder inflammation and would be out a minimum of 7 months. Jones has gone to the hill for 2 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 1-3 record with a 5.04 ERA. The Toledo reliever has limited opposing batters to a .267 batting average. |
