September's Best Rookie Honored by PL Saturday, October 1st , 2061 The United States Premier League announced today that Jake Haynes has been chosen the league's Rookie of the Month. The Buffalo starter had everything working for him last month as he glided to a 3-0 record. In September Haynes chalked up a 1.93 ERA in 18.2 innings with 21 strikeouts and 2 walks. Up to now Haynes has compiled an ERA of 1.75 with a 5-0 mark over 6 starts. He has 47 strikeouts in 36 innings and has held opponents to a .226 batting average. |
