Everhart Pitches Way to Rookie of the Year Honor Thursday, November 3rd , 2061 Jim Everhart of the Boston Patriots won the Newcomer of the Year Award quite simply by mowing down his opponents. He took the best rookie honor with a 14-4 record and a 2.34 ERA. Everhart made 23 starts, struck out 137 in 173.1 innings, surrendered 127 hits and walked 35 this season. Les Moore of the New Orleans Voodoo finished second in voting, while Chris Veeck of the New Orleans Voodoo finished third. |
