Those were the comments heard after the Seattle Rocketeers came to an agreement to deal 31-year old LF Jorge Beguer and $3 in cash to the St. Louis Coeur for 26-year old C Keith Jones and $2 in cash earlier today. The deal is expected to be formally announced later this evening. Beguer currently has a career .268 batting average with 497 hits, good for 19 home runs, 151 RBIs and 330 runs. |
