United States Premier League Selects Top Rookie Saturday, November 11th , 2062 The United States Premier League announced today that Nick Hensley has been chosen the best rookie in the United States Premier League and would be the 2062 recipient of the Newcomer of the Year Award. The Boston starter had everything working for him as he breezed to a 10-6 record. During the season Hensley chalked up 22 starts and a 3.07 ERA in 143.2 innings, surrendering 146 hits with 102 strikeouts and 36 walks. Other clubs hit .266 against him. Victor Lagers of the Toronto Thunder finished second in voting, while Fred Burton of the New Orleans Voodoo finished third. |
