Las Vegas Trades Vineyard to Toronto for Davis Saturday, April 21st , 2063 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Flamingos announced today the acquisition of 33-year old 3B Bob Davis from the Toronto Thunder in exchange for 19-year old minor league SS Scott Vineyard and $3 in cash. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Flamingos, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." In his career, Davis has hit for a .279 average and totaled 786 hits, 132 home runs and 415 RBIs. |
