Injury Ends Career of Jorge Otero Monday, June 10th, 2041 "Jorge Otero will never play baseball again." Those were the words of his doctors. Otero, the Mockingbirds starting pitcher, sustained a career-ending injury in yesterday's Mississippi-Boston game at Dunkin Donuts Park. He suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. It happened throwing a pitch. This year Otero has compiled a 2-1 mark with a 2.34 ERA. |
