Rowdy Players Suspended by League Sunday, May 13th , 2063 After an intense confrontation, both the Thunder John Hines and the Stingers Tazz Jones were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Toronto-Toledo game. John Hines will miss 3 games, while Tazz Jones was suspended for 7 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," John Hines commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." This season, Hines has delivered 4 hits in 20 at-bats for a .200 average with 2 home runs. He is getting on base at a .304 clip and his totals also include 2 RBIs and 3 runs scored. This year Hines has played in 6 games. |
