PL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Wednesday, July 1st, 2037 Oliver Villalva's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Vancouver center fielder has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In June he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .255 with 4 doubles, no triples and 4 home runs. Villalva also scored 7 times and drove in 13 runs. Thus far this year Villalva is hitting .270 with 5 home runs, 17 RBIs and 10 runs scored. |
