New Orleans Trades Rosas for Ft. Worth's MacGruder Saturday, March 18th , 2062 It took some time to iron out the details, but the Voodoo and Cattlemen have agreed to a swap. Ft. Worth will get 33-year old RHP Jesús Rosas with New Orleans receiving 21-year old minor league RHP Don Edgar and 19-year old minor league 2B Matt MacGruder in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. During his career, Rosas has registered a 16-17 record with a 4.40 ERA. |
