Xiu-tou Ou-yang Sidelined for Season Thursday, June 8th , 2062 The season is ending on a bad note for Xiu-tou Ou-yang, shortstop for the Columbia River Rats. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Ou-yang was hurt against the Matlacha Manatees while running the bases. He suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament and will be out for at least 9 months. So far on the season, Ou-yang is hitting .242 with 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 6 runs scored. He has 24 hits and played in 31 games. |
