Season Ends for Edgardo Silva of Idaho Falls Saturday, July 3rd , 2060 The doctors have spoken and Edgardo Silva of the Idaho Falls Chukars didn't like what he heard. The 22-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Silva sustained his season-ending injury during the Laredo Hawks game yesterday at Hawks Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Idaho Falls medical staff reported Silva had radial nerve compression and would be absent from the lineup for at least 5 months. |
