Walleye Max Payne to Miss Year
Thursday, July 14th , 2061
When Max Payne was hurt against the Washington Generals, the Walla Walla Walleye were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 20-year-old starting pitcher suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Payne would miss 12 months of the season.
This year, Payne has worked 49.2 innings with 38 strikeouts en route to a 1-6 record and a 4.89 ERA.
